Highlights of the reporting period

  • 17 July 2013: JSC Techsnabexport celebrated its 50th anniversary. The function drew over 800 people, including the Company’s employees, its Russian and overseas affiliates and subsidiaries, ROSATOM top management, governmental officials, and foreign business partners of the Company. On the eve of the 50th anniversary, the Company’s team was awarded the Diploma of the Government of the Russian Federation.

  • JSC Techsnabexport completed deliveries of low-enriched uranium (LEU)

    Uranium with a uranium-235 content less than 20% by mass.

  • On the same day, a function was held where the heads of JSC Techsnabexport and USEC signed a joint statement on the completion of deliveries of LEU produced from HEU

    Highly Enriched Uranium
    . The Company organised a panel discussion with the participation of Russian and foreign mass media which addressed various aspects of the HEU-LEU Programme

Long-term order portfolio amounted in comparable prices

  • JSC Techsnabexport prepared a special brochure dedicated to the history of the HEU-LEU Programme

  • 18 December 2013: The US Secretary of Energy signed a document stating that the Russian party had fully met its commitments under the Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the Russian Federation concerning the disposition of highly enriched uranium

  • Nine new contracts and seven amendments (including two prolongations) to existing contracts with utilities from the USA, the EU, and APR

  • The long-term order portfolio amounted to approximately US $25 billion in comparable prices.
  • In June 2013, JSC Techsnabexport signed the Material Account Agreement with NAC Kazatomprom. The agreement helps to optimise the pattern of interaction with foreign customers, which are common for both companies.
  • Another stage of trying out a new route for shipping Russian uranium products via Russia’s Far East was passed: the first successful shipment to Japan in October 2012 was followed by two enriched uranium shipments from Vostochny Seaport in Maritime Territory to the Republic of Korea in November–December 2013.
  • Monitoring audits were held in 2013 by the certification authority, TÜV Thüringen e.V. (Germany). JSC Techsnabexport’s activities were confirmed as compliant with the requirements of international standards: DIN EN ISO 9001:2008, DIN EN ISO 14001:2009, and ISO 28000:2007.
