Information disclosure in the Report

The 2013 reporting year, was a special year in the Company’s history. This year marked the 50th anniversary of the Company and was also the year of completion for low-enriched uranium (LEU)

The Company’s activities with hindsight and the preliminary results of its operations in the global uranium market are described in detail in the previous Public Annual Report of the Company published in 2013, as well as in a special anniversary booklet.

When writing this Report, the Company’s top management and the stakeholders chose to prioritise the theme of the “HEU-LEU Programme

as a unique project of the multilateral nuclear cooperation: Lessons and outcomes”, with an emphasis on the political significance; the unprecedented object, scale, and duration of the HEU-LEU Programme

A sequence of processes to support the operation of nuclear reactors that covers uranium mining through the disposal of radioactive waste.

The Report also provides exhaustive information on activities in support of ecological programmes and projects, since in Russia, 2013 was declared the Environmental Protection Year.

Stakeholder recommendations provided in the course of the Report drafting process (Appendix No. 8) were taken into account in its final revision.
