Conversion — a chemical process transforming U3O8 into UF6.
DDP – Delivered, Duty Paid — Terms of delivery whereby the seller’s responsibility ceases upon delivery of the goods at the agreed place in the buyer’s country. Prior to that, all costs and risks in delivering the goods (duties, taxes, etc.), responsibility for loss or damage of the goods, and customs duties and other formalities, are borne by the seller.
DDU – Delivered Duty Unpaid — Terms of delivery whereby the seller’s responsibility ceases upon delivery of
the goods to a specified location in the buyer’s country. Prior to that, all costs and risks in delivering the goods
(duties, taxes, etc.), responsibility for loss or damage of the goods, with the exception of customs duties and other
formalities at import, are borne by the seller.
EBITDA — Earnings before Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation.
Enriched uranium — Uranium where the ratio of uranium-235 to uranium-238 is increased in excess of the natural uranium (0.7%). Normally, reactor-grade uranium is enriched up to about 3.5% with uranium-235, while the content of uranium-235 in weapons-grade material is over 90%.
Enrichment (with isotope) — a) The content of atoms of a certain isotope in the isotopic mixture of the same element; it exceeds a fraction of this isotope in the naturally occurring mixture (expressed in %); b) a process resulting in a higher content of a certain isotope in the isotopic mixture.
ExW — Ex Works. Terms of delivery whereby the seller’s duties and responsibility cease upon making the goods available at his premises or warehouse to the buyer. The seller is not responsible for loading the goods onto the vehicle and customs clearance of the goods for export.
FOB — Free on Board. Terms of delivery whereby the seller’s responsibility ceases at the ship’s rail at a specified port of dispatch. This means that, thereafter, the buyer bears the cost and risk of loss or damage. FOB terms imply that the seller must clear the goods for export. These terms apply only to transportation by sea or inland waters.
HEU-LEU Agreement — Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government
of the Russian Federation concerning the disposition of highly enriched uranium extracted from nuclear
weapons, made on 18.02.1993.
Highly enriched uranium (HEU) — Uranium with a uranium-235 content equal to or more than 20% by mass.
Low-enriched uranium (LEU) — Uranium with a uranium-235 content less than 20% by mass.
Natural uranium — EA material with low activity and a uranium-235 content equal to 0.7%.
Nuclear fuel cycle (NFC) — A sequence of processes to support the operation of nuclear reactors that covers uranium mining through the disposal of radioactive waste.
Uranium hexafluoride — A chemical composition of uranium, which can be gaseous under certain conditions. It is used as feed for uranium enrichment.
A&S — Affiliates and Subsidiaries
AFCF — Adjusted Free Cash Flow
