Key performance indicators system

“Implementation of the HEU-LEU Agreement is a unique experience of confidence between countries and specialists in a sensible sphere… Russia not only kept its presence in the American market but also won the trust of energy companies which is of prime importance in the atomic industry”.

Sergey Kiriyenko, the General Director of the ROSATOM State Corporation.
From the interview to ITAR-TASS, December 31, 2013.
The key performance indicators (KPI

Key Performance Indicators
) system – a modern tool of performance management – has been implemented and successfully used at JSC Techsnabexport since 2009.
Starting from 2013, the KPI

Key Performance Indicators
system was extended to all employees of JSC Techsnabexport, its A&S in Russia, and the heads of its subsidiaries abroad.

Its fundamental principle is the decomposition of ROSATOM’s strategic goals to a system of financial, economic, production, human, and other performance indicators regarding the entities and individual targets of their leaders over the course of a year.

In terms of cross-functional sectoral projects of ROSATOM and based on the uniform methodology, the KPI

Key Performance Indicators
report cards of the heads of the functional arms of the entities (economics and finance, accounting, corporate legal activities, human resources management, procurement, information support, etc.) include sectoral function indicators.
In 2013, JSC Techsnabexport met all KPI

Key Performance Indicators
s set forth by ROSATOM17:
  • adjusted free cash flow, RUR billion;
  • reduction of uranium inventory at the front end of NFC on the whole, RUR billion;
  • proceeds in the global market, USD billion;
  • ten-year orders portfolio, USD billion; and
  • engagement, %.
17 As based on a KPI

Key Performance Indicators
s assessment conducted in March 2014, the indicators were 100% met and more.
